About Long Family Tree in Australia
William Long came to Sydney Australia as a soldier in the 3rd Regiment of the  Buffs, he was then transported to Tasmania. Some of his children left Tasmania  and settled in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.

Richard Long was 8 eight years old when his grandmother Elizabeth brought him  to Mt Gambier to live after the death of her husband William Long in Oatlands  Tasmania. Richard Long married Mary Cameron McCallum, daughter of Duncan  McCallum and Mary Cameron.

John Boardman and Anne Wright arrived 1855 on the "Northern Light" coming from  Lancashire England.

Duncan McCallum and Mary Cameron arrived 10 July 1840 on the "Dauntless" coming  from Greenock, Scotland.

Andrew MacFarlane and Janet McNicol arrived around 1854 from Scotland and lived  at Ardno about 2 miles from Invercoe homestead in Victoria.

John Cameron and Margaret MacFarlane arrived in South Australia 1866 from  Victoria and settled in Mt Gambier where they raised their 12 children.

Daniel Jarvis & Helen Johnston lived in Strathalbyn SA and had three children.

George Rainsford & Elizabeth Sandford arrived from Dublin Ireland in 1852 on  the "Sultana".

The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
